Skillet, Sick Puppies, and Little Rock’s very own Devour The Day ended a 7 week-long tour Friday night at the Metroplex Live.
One would think that after so long on the road, these artists would be exhausted and worn down, but from the show they put on, I don’t see how it could have been a more lively show! So much energy was present on the stage throughout all three performances.
Devour The Day started the show with one of the best performances I have seen. Vocalist Blake Allison performed one song while crowd surfing!
The liveliness of the fans left an impact on the band as well. Ronnie Farris paused to capture the energy of the show on his phone to share with his followers on social media.
Sick Puppies took the stage next with a memorable performance that left even the audience members lining the back of the venue cheering.
The band played fan favorites such as “Riptide” and “Maybe” along with new songs leaving both sides of the fandom satisfied.
Skillet played last with a full production that thoroughly blew minds!
A memorable moment from their show is when vocalist John Cooper pointed out faces from the crowd that have been supporting the band from the start. Cooper also praised Little Rock’s local rock radio station 100.3 The Edge for always being one of the first stations to play Skillet’s latest releases.
If you have never seen any of these bands live, you truly are missing out! Buy some tickets and make it out to a show.
